A gay-friendly cafe that serves some of the best coffee in Beirut. It has quite a bohemian vibe. Cafe Younes has been going since 1935. It's worth checking out, especially if you appreciate the joys of a strong coffee and a piece of cake.

It's by no means a gay bar but it's a very laidback, accepting place.

Out of the handful of gay bars in Beirut, Bardo is one of the oldest and famous. Located Downtown, the bar attracts a younger crowd, in particular when the bar holds its weekly "Powerpuff Queens" party every Thursday. The party starts no earlier than 11 pm, but the early evening crowd is more relaxed and chatty; 2 for 1 happy hour offers during the week makes it a lovely warm-up spot for party-goers ready to marry the night.
