On 20th June 2015, Riga became the first post-Soviet European country to host Euro Pride.
The colourful parade was the culmination of a weeks of LGBT activities and events in the city.
Around 5,000 people from across Europe and beyond including some European Ambassadors and Parliamentary members.
The event passed off smoothly – a marked change since the last gay rights parade in Riga that saw thousands of anti-gay protesters take to the streets.
