Capital City Pride is back in 2024.

The iconic route starts at the Iowa State Capital and travels down Grand Avenue into the Historic East Village. The parade kicks off at 12:00pm on Sunday.

Please keep in the loop via their Facebook Page, a note from the organizers:

"The Board of Directors has decided to move the 3-day Pride Fest Weekend Celebration to a “30 Days of Pride” celebration. We are taking 30+ events that we pack in over the course of a 3 day weekend with 30k+ people in the East Village and instead, we are spreading them out over 30 days in June across the entire city." So expect a whole month of Pride events in June.
