Pink Dot is one of the biggest and best gay events in Singapore. Around 30,000 people attend. It’s still technically illegal to be gay in Singapore but the law is rarely enforced. It remains an oppressive force for LGBT+ locals, however. Pink Dot is a celebration but it’s also about raising queer visibility in Singapore. The 2021 Pink Dot was cancelled due to coronavirus but the event should come back in 2022.Updated: 06-Jul-2021
