For a long time, Seattle has been at the centre of LGBT activism. The week-long celebrations of Seattle Pride 2024 features tons of parties, food, cultural exhibitions and live performances from a wide array of LGBT artists.

One highlight of this event is the Seattle Capitol Hill Pride March & Rally, where over 25,000 participants are expected. The Pride parade takes place on Sunday and kicks off from 4th & Union in downtown. The heart of Seattle's main LGBT neighbourhood will be engulfed by food, music and entertainment on multiple stages.

The past headliner was the Queen of Bounce music, Big Freedia. Backed by virtual performances from special guest Mary Lambert, Perfume Genius, and singer/songwriter and YouTube sensation mxmtoon.
