Its facilities date back to the 1800s being a house of housing, in 1942 begins to give lodging to the visitors of Cuenca and becomes one of the first places of lodging in the city; In 1973 Henry Koupermann of French origin buys the facilities of Hotel Crespo, who had been serving Tourism for 31 years; Since then the Hotel has belonged to the Koupermann family maintaining its traditions of yesteryear.
