Group Trip Breakdown
Day 1: Sydney
Your gay group trip to Australia begins in historic Sydney, where you’ll be met and transferred by a tour representative. Here, you’ll stay in luxury accommodation on the gorgeous Bondi Beach. This afternoon will be at your own leisure, giving you a chance to unwind after a long day of travelling.
Day 2: The Outback
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we fly to Uluru. Originally named just Uluru, Uluru / Ayers Rock is an iconic landmark that we will be witnessing upon our arrival. Along with guided tours of the outback, detailing the landscapes history and culture.
Day 3: Uluru
Beginning early, we’ll witness the sunrise across Urulu from a tremendous viewpoint.
After a picnic on the outback , we will stop at the Mutitjulu watering hole, take a scenic flight over the Urluru and enjoy a “Night in the Field of Light.”
Day 4: Port Douglas
Today we head to the northeast coastline, where we will be staying for the next four nights. During your stay you’ll have the chance to take guided nature walks along the beach or through the forest, star gaze at the observatory, bird watch and a whole host of other activities.
Day 5: Mackay Coral Cay
Today we explore the beautiful shores of Northeastern Australia. Leaving early from the marina, we will sail and snorkel across the Coral Cays of Mackay and the Undine Reefs.
If snorkelling isn’t your cup of tea, take a tour on a glass bottom boat or walk across the heavenly white sand beaches of Mackay Coral Cay.
Day 6: Daintree Rainforest
Today we head to Cooya Beach, a traditional fishing ground of the Kuku Yalanji people. After enjoying the sights, we head to Mossman Gorge, where we will be welcomed with a traditional ‘smoking ceremony from the Aboriginal people.
Day 7: Leisure
Today we enjoy our last day in Australian wildlife before we head back to Sydney. Whether it’s hiking through the forestry or unwinding by the pool, this day is yours to do as you wish.
Day 8: Sydney
Today we arrive in Sydney. Ahead of Mardi Gras weekend you’ll have the day to celebrate and familiarise yourself with the city.
Day 9: Sydney
Animal lovers can look forward to today’s activites, as you’ll be partaking in a safari in the sky on a cable car. Return to the ground for an hour-long tour of the Taronga Zoo.
The last stop on your tour today is the Sydney Opera House, where you’ll go inside and witness the extraordinary architecture of the venue. Later, enjoy a delicious lunch at the Opera Kitchen.
Day 10: Sydney
We begin our day with a short trip to The Rocks, a small colonial town just under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We will take an aboriginal guide around The Rocks, which details the aboriginal history of the harbour.
We will spend the rest of the day indulging in the parties of Sydney’s Mardi Gras festival. We can assist, or you can do whatever you wish on this hugely popular gay and lesbian, city-wide party!
Day 11: Sydney
Today you’ll get a chance to relax after yesterdays festivities. There are optional excursions, such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, for those seeking thrills after Mardi Gras!
