Group Trip Breakdown

DAY 1: LISBON
Our adventure will begin in Alfama, Lisbon's most elegant district. We'll explore the Moorish and Jewish influences in the architecture and watch a Fado performance in the evening.

DAY 2: BLUE COAST
Today we'll be cycling along the Blue Coast. We'll visit the José Maria Fonseca winery taste Moscatel - which this region is famous for. After lunch, we'll take a Zodiac along the Arrabida coast where we may well see dolphins.

DAY 3: SANTIAGO DE CACEM
Today we'll cycle in the Natural Park of Arrábida and take a ferry to Troia Peninsula. Riding along the Alentejo province we'll pass old school farms and tiny coffee shops in the middle of 0where. Our arrival will surely give the locals something to talk about.

DAY 4: FOLLOWING SIR FRANCIS DRAKE
Today we'll cycle through Roman ruins in Mirobriga the ancient town of Vila 0va - this town once hosted Hannibal (leader of the Carthaginians, 0t the Netflix show!).

DAY 5: VILA 0VA DE MILFONTES
After a brisk cycle through the fields, we'll explore the town of Vila 0va de Milfontes - including its scenic coastline.

DAY 6: MOOR RIDING
Today we'll cycle along Rio Seixe to Zumbujeira do Mar. Keep an eye peeled for crumbling Moorish forts along the way. We'll have a leisurely evening at our guesthouse and raise a glass or two.

DAY 7: ALGARVE COAST
Today we'll sail along the Algarve coast. Avoiding the horror of Magaluf we shall stop in the funky town of Lagos and eat in a top restaurant.

Day 8: Departure
Today you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight.

Further Information

You’ll be sailing in style on the Lord of the Glens, a splendid Scottish cruise ship. It’s an elegant seafaring yacht that can sail through the Caledonian Canal but also sail the Atlantic. This will be an all LGBT trip of no more than 54 guests. Expect a Scottish breakfast every morning and nightly entertainment.
