About this Trip
Join a gay sailing expedition and explore the Aeolian Islands around Sicily. This archipelago of islands is UNECSO-protected. Joining a sailing trip allows you to see all the highlights in one go. It would be difficult to plot this itinerary yourself. You’ll see places not may tourists venture.
Group Trip Breakdown
Days 1-2: Milazzo
Our Aeolian sailing trip begins and ends in Milazzo. You can get fly direct from Catania airport or get a private transfer from Palermo airport. We’ll embark on Saturday 18th. After a welcome drink we’ll visit Milazzo town. Welcome dinner in the evening and drinks. Overnight on the boat.
Days 3-7: Alicudi, Filicudi, Lipari, Vulcano & Panarea
We set sail on Sunday 19th. We’ll have a safety briefing to start with. Don’t worry if you haven’t sailed before. We’ll show you the ropes. A professional skipper and host/cook will be on board.
The itinerary may change slightly depending on the winds. Sailing the Tyrrhenian sea, the first island we come to is Vulcano. There are seven Aeolian islands in total. Prepare yourself for idyllic landscapes, crystal clear waters and soft sand beaches. There are Roman ruins to explore, stunning restaurants and quaint villages to stroll around. This is a great way to discover the charms of Italy.
