Group Trip Breakdown

Days 1 and 2: New Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you'll be transferred to the deluxe Imperial New Delhi for a two night stay before beginning your exploration of India. You'll be introduced to exciting local landmarks such as the imposing Red Fort, President's Palace and City Gate. Other attractions include discovering Old Delhi via rickshaw ride.

Day 3: New Delhi to Kolkata
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before you depart for a flight to Kolkata. You'll settle into your suite aboard the Ganges Voyager before gathering with fellow travelers for a welcome reception and dinner. Aboard the Ganges Voyager there will be music performances showcasing songs from the local Bengal region.

Day 4: Bandel
Before travelling upstream on the Ganges Voyager, we'll venture ashore to explore Kolkata. Later, excursion boats will take you to Bandel, a port founded by Portuguese settlers in the 1800s.

Day 5: Kalna
Venture through the city centre of Kalna via rickshaw before heading towards the enchanting Rajbari complex, k0wn for its high concentration of temples. After exploring the West Bengal architecture, we'll return aboard for an evening of fine dining.

Day 6: Matiari
Upon arrival to Matiari you'll be able to stroll through the streets of the working village, where craftsmen are k0wn for transforming recycled copper into beautiful brass creations. After the ship's morning stop, we'll continue upriver to Khushbagh.

Day 7: Khushbagh/Baranagar/Murshidabad
This morning we'll visit a mosque complex in the charming village of Khushbagh. Later, we'll be porting at Baranagar for a sample of life in rural India. En route to Murshidabad we'll pass through picturesque fields before stopping off to visit the Hazarduari Palace. Finally we'll travel by local buggy to the beautiful Katra mosque. After sufficient sightseeing we'll return aboard for dinner and entertainment.

Day 8: Mayapur
After a restful morning, you'll have the chance to experience Mayapur, k0wn for being home to the Krishna Consciousness Movement otherwise k0wn as ISKON. Experience the ornate, colourful statues of Krishna, as well as the culture of ISKON's followers.

Day 9: Chandannagar
In Chandannagar, you'll have the chance to visit the French colonial buildings along the city's promenade. Before returning to the ship for a festive farewell dinner, experience the Sacred Heart Church of Chandannagar.

Day 10: Kolkata to Jaipur
After breakfast in Kolkata you'll be taken to visit the home and resting place of 0bel Peace Prize winner, Mother Teresa. During our visit we'll experience the exhibition of Mother Teresa's life and work, as well as the tomb where she was laid to rest in 1997. Say goodbye to Kolkata before boarding your flight to the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Day 11: Jaipur
Enjoy an opulent breakfast this morning, before joining a tour of the "Pink City". An optional elephant ride up the hill to the Amber Fort is on the cards, as well as visiting a complex of picturesque courtyards and gardens.

Day 12: Agra
Enjoy a scenic ride that will take you into the city of Agra. You'll be checked into the scenic Oberoi Amarvilas for one night only. In the after0on experience the excitement of the Agra Fort, a red sandstone stonewalled complex. End the day of sightseeing with a visit to the re0wned Taj Mahal, where you'll soak up some of India's most iconic architecture.

Day 13: New Delhi
If you're an early bird, be sure to join the captivating sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. Enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel before taking a scenic ride to New Delhi, where you'll enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Spend your last night as you wish at the deluxe Radisson Blu Plaza, before bidding farewell to your gay group trip to India.

Day 14: Departure
Today marks the end of our gay group trip together, so say your goodb1 before returning to the airport.

Further Information

You’ll be sailing in style on the Lord of the Glens, a splendid Scottish cruise ship. It’s an elegant seafaring yacht that can sail through the Caledonian Canal but also sail the Atlantic. This will be an all LGBT trip of no more than 54 guests. Expect a Scottish breakfast every morning and nightly entertainment.
