    Horrible experience

Studio 2006 is the worst place I've been. I am a foreigner living in Shanghai. I don't know if it's organised by owner, or just staff, but they are ready to steal your belongings. Guys will contact you a gay chat site. After you meet, he'll invite you to the sauna. I was alerted because the guy was nervous. We went to sauna, he was in front of me, but when I entered the sauna, he disappeared. Went to locker room, he wasn't there. Went back to the guy who gives towels and asked for my "host". He was playing the fool saying that no one was at gate in before me.!!!! WTF!!! I realised what they do. They trap you into the sauna, so you pay entrance fee. If you are fool enough, you'll stay not wanting to lose the money. Lockers are not safe, your belongings will be stolen. If you clever enough you'll leave and lose only your entrance fee (80 RMB).

The staff was not friendly. Someone stole my towel and I asked for a new one, but the staff refused to give me one. In addition, the place is quite dirty and smell. It was not worth for $80 on the weekday. I probably won't visit again.

Sorry to hear that, Kris, I never made that experience. Anyway, Spring Health Club has now moved to a new place very nearby - 133 Taian Road (just a few steps from TRANSIT LOUNGE) and has re-opened under "HELEN MASSAGE". It has become quite stylish, very nice and clean and I was treated in a room with private shower. The massage (now 90 minutes) was extremely good - ask for Masseur No. 68 :-)

Was there today. The place is nice and the staff friendly. The massage pressure was good but only on the back. No real massage on the legs or foot. The only problem, and it was a big one, is that I paid 198 Yuan for 70 minute massage, but in fact it was only 45 minutes, so I can't recommend it for money.
