One of the best dance clubs in Europe, located in a former power plant in East Berlin, Berghain has become an epicentre for club-goers from around the world, with its a huge main floor, superb sound system and amazing lineup of DJ’s who pump out the best music.
Upstairs is the Panorama Bar which has a slightly more civilised vibe and excellent city view. (Lab-oratory, a men-only sex club, is a separate venue in the basement with its own entrance and queue.)
Berghain started out as a gay club but now attracts a mixed crowd. Some say that being gay, looking mid 20’s or older and wearing darker colours (nothing too flashy) will improve your chances of entry. Arriving drunk are definite no-no’s. But once you’re in, the experience is amazing.

This is very much a late-night venue for people who like to party. It’s located in Friedrichshain, one of the coolest and most gay-popular districts in Berlin.
The famous Berghain is also in the same area. This part of former East Berlin is the heart of the city’s alternative nightlife scene.
Chantals House of Shame takes place every Thursday at Suicide Circus Club. Having moved several times it’s now found a regular home. It’s become one of the most famous and exciting gay club nights in Berlin. Expect top DJs and drag performances from some of the top queens in the city.
If you’re looking to party hard then Chantals House of Shame is the place to be. The party will still be going on at 6am.
