Victor/Victoria
Victor/Victoria
Moonlight Amphitheatre 1250 Vale Terrace Dr, Vista, CA 92084, USA, San Diego, USA
Set in 1930s Paris, Victor/Victoria is a gender-bending musical made famous by Julie Andrews. She stared in the 1982 film and later stage adaptation that notoriously led to her vocal difficulties.
The story follows the life of English soprano Victoria Grant, a nightclub singer. She hooks up with fellow performer, Carroll Toddy. He helps her to become a female impersonator - she is, of course, a woman to begin with. What follows is a gender-bending adventure... we won't spoil the ending.
