The best tempura in town! This famous restaurant, which started over 100 years ago, specialises in all things tempura (deep-fried food).

Set menus come with salad, rice, miso soup and tea. English menu available. Funabashi-ya is located a few blocks off the Shinjuku Station.

Favourite ramen/noodle restaurants, with several locations in Tokyo. The Ebisu branch is located a short walk from Ebisu station (one stop from Shibuya)

Ippudo stays open until late. If you crave traditional Japanese ramen, this is the place to be.
