VillageFest takes place in downtown Palm Springs every Thursday from 7 pm – 10 pm. It’s an arts and crafts fair that covers several blocks. It’s located on Palm Canyon Drive, in the heart of downtown.
As Palm Springs is home to so many artists and Friends of Dorothy, you’ll find that this street fair is a cut above the average. It’s something of a Palm Springs institution and well worth checking out.

James “Gypsy” Haake presides over an evening of drag at Oscar’s Cafe and Bar. A range of queens perform, taking on the roles of old favourites like Judy Garland and Patsy Cline, and also contemporary divas like P!ink and Lady Gaga.
You can opt for a three-course prix-fixe meal or just the ticket on its own. This will be quite an experience, as James “Gypsy” Haake is the oldest working female impersonator. The show kicks off at 7:00 pm.
