The main gay sauna in Itaewon gay district. Hyundae 현대 사우나 has been around for many years and is foreigner-friendly. Open 24 hours but busiest in the late evenings.
Facilities include a dry sauna, lounge area, video room, internet station, private cabins and dark room. There is a pool, but its always empty. Drinks and snacks are available.
Take Exit 4 from Itaewon subway station. Continue on the right bend of the street, and you will come to a side street on your left. Turn left, and Hyundae Sauna will be on your right.

With no sauna facilities, Equus is more of a cruise club for gay men, located close to Seoul’s gay nightlife district in Itaewon. Facilities include lockers, cruising area, dark room and cabins.
Themed nights include Underwear, Naked and SM – check the website for agenda. Foreigners pay the same rates as the locals. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
From Itaewon station, make a right at the fire station, pass Homo Hill alley and take your third left. Go straight for a block, Equus is on a corner to your left.
Gay ‘jjimjilbang’ (cruise club) that made headlines in 2015 for admitting to having a strict door policy that allowed entry only to young Koreans and gym-fit non-Korean men.
Facilities at Black include lockers with keypad system, showers, bathrooms, TV/smoking room, private cabins and dark room. Black gets very crowded and particularly busy on the weekends. Open 24 hours.
From Sinnonhyeon subway station (Exit 3), take the first turn on the left down Gangnam-daero 112-gil. Continue down this street until you find an alley on the left.
Gay cruise club in Gangnam area, frequented by a younger, more muscular and bear type. Facilities include dark room, private cabins, showers. Safety supplies are provided at the reception.
SHELTER is open 24 hours on the weekends. Expect after-hours crowd from the clubs. Hosts regular themed nights.
Take subway (Line 7) to Nonhyeon Station. From Exit 5, walk towards ‘Buy The Way’ convenient store, turn right at the corner. Walk towards the end of the road, then turn right opposite Tomato Gym. Look for entrance to a green building #18-2.
Gay cruise club in Sinchon area. Facilities at Prince include lockers, showers, TV room, lounge area, 3 big rooms, 14 private cabins and a free WiFi. Foreigners welcome. Open 24 hours.
From Sinchon Station, take Exit 8 and walk straight for 3-4 minutes, you’ll see a sign on a white board. Prince is on 3rd and 4th floor of that building.
