    Awesome holiday

“Best holiday before i go to bali and going to this spa .. Awesome“

    Very nice Spa

“During my vacation, I went there 3 times. The first time I could choose from 3 masseurs, my choice fell on Carlo, a handsome but especially professional masseur. The table was clean and fresh and as far as the bathroom is concerned, indeed that does not meet our Western standards. But no problem, I showered in my own Hotel.“

    Fadill is the BEST

“When I came to Banana Spa, I choose Fadill for my massage. He looked very nice. Later I knew it was good choice. He had very nice body, his massage technique was so professional and I enjoyed his every touch. I chose Royal Banana massage and thanks to Fadill - I felt like I was in paradise. He is very nice and polite guy who likes his work and does everything with his heart. He will be my only one choice when I'm back to Banana Spa.“

“Although reading the bad review here, I still went back as I like the old batch massage therapists who provided very good massages. I had a just reasonable experience this time. Unfortunately, the massage table was stinky, the shower room was dirty and the water was under pressure. What pissed me off was that I had rashes all around my neck and armpit just after the massage and back to the hotel. Please keep the spa clean and educate the staff about the hygienic standard.“

“After reading the reviews, I visited Banana Spa. Whilst the staff were pleasant, the massage was awful. The therapist kept whispering in my ear that he would do a better job if I was to give him a tip? Not impressed. I paid for an hour, and it only went for 45 minutes. Based on that experience alone, I opted to get a therapist to visit the hotel who were significantly better.“

Lovely massage with the most beautiful Balinese guy

“Fadill is an amazing guy. He will take your breath away. Relaxing massage. Soft hands. Perfect Bali male massage. And afterwards relax with a glass of wine. What a wonderful experience.“

Ok massage but not up to the expectation

“We went to the spa after reading the nice reviews here. My masseur was a muscular good looking Balinese. The strength was ok, but he focused a large amount of time on my calfs, which I thought was a bit strange. I chosed 2 hour massage, though I was changed the same as two 70-min massage, yet the whole session finished less than two hours including shower time. He persuaded me to change one hour to the Royal package but there wasn't any body contact other than hands. I thought it was the way to secure tips, though I would probably give more or less the same anyway. Overall, a bit disappointed at the average service standard, given the price point.“

    Nice place

“A very nice place with kind people. It’s clean and pleasant. We went 2 times in 3 days. I recommend Fandy who make does like nobody else.“

    The Royal Treatment

“After reading some mixed reviews I decided to check it out for myself... and I’m glad I did.

I chose the Banana Royal and got to chose my masseur. The room was small but air conditioned and my masseurs hands were amazing. Would definitely go back and recommend others to try it also.

    Best spa in Bali

“This is a very good spa. I had a massage with Kenji and it was fantastic. I’ll go back today.“

“Nice relax place, I stay here all day, massage swim eat drink, very clean and new place.“

  13. D Dong-Seok
    Easy to get there

“Had a pre-drink and nice massage at night before heading to Bali Joe. Nice and relaxing. Was nice to jump into the pool for a swim before the massage as well. will definitely go back again for my next trip.“

    Nice place, horrible massage

“Great space for coffee and bintang. Nice pool.

Spa service horrible. Smelly room, dirty bathroom, masseur with no skills demanding a huge tip and losing interest in massage while I firmly refused.

This place have potential but need some basic skills from therapist and manager attention. Oh ya and please give some privacy while using bathroom, no key to close the door.“

    Still the best in Bali

“I read a lot of the reviews, I think a lot are posted by owners of other gay spas in Bali as they are Jealous.
The spa is the only one in the gay area of Bali ,it has the most staff and the largest amount of treatment rooms, and always friendly and welcoming.“

    A great experience

“I read all the reviews here and seen some very mixed comments so when I was in Bali last week I decided to give Banana Spa Bali a try for myself. What I found was a tastefully decorated spa with very clean facilities. The staff could not be more helpful they sat down with me to explain the massage menu. Then I was given the opportunity to choose from a collection of handsome masseurs. I enjoyed an excellent massage that left me with a big smile on my face. I would certainly recommend you give it a try next time you are in Bali.“

    More miss than hit

“This place is more miss than hit. Three friends all went together. Bad experience. The 70 minute massage went for 25 minutes. The Masseur left the room several times. Didn't do my back. Turned me over and demanded 500,000. What a joke. Go to Coconut Grande. Far better.“

  18. J Joey
    EXACTLY as expected

“I knew exactly what I was getting into going to Banana Spa (from reading the pretty accurate reviews here) and it was great. It's a little hard to find--just keep walking, you're not on the wrong street. I was greeted warmly by three masseurs and was given a great massage by one of them (whose name I've unfortunately forgotten). I had a sunburn, so the banana creme felt great. My masseur's fingernails were a little long, but he was otherwise very attentive. The shower room is a complete horror, but there's another one on the other side of the spa, so see if they'll show you to that one. “

    there are better places

“Went to Banana Spa few days ago. The welcoming was rather cool, not very heartily. There were four guys to choose from, one looking a bit better than the other.
I got a nice 70 minutes massage, though well overpriced at 250000 Rp (excluding tip) for ordinary massage (available elsewhere in Seminyak for 100000 Rp). Also one should realize (I did too late unfortunately) that scented oil means oil with a banana smell. There are more appealing aromas.

The massage room has no shower, neither is the bathroom attached. You had to walk down the staircase. The shower had just a little lukewarm water without any pressure, not sufficient to rinse all the banana oil away.“
