Gay New York · Mid-range + Budget Hotels

New York draws thousands of gay visitors each year because of its great nightlife and welcoming hotels. There are lots of hotels so we've chosen our favorites.

Greenwich Village / Chelsea

One of the most popular New York neighbourhoods amongst gay travelers. Greenwich Village is just a short walk to the historic Stonewall Inn – famous for its LGBT history.

Many cool restaurants & bars in the area. A good base for exploring all that New York City has to offer.

Why this hotel?: Very central. Near the best shops, Greenwich Village gay scene.

The ModernHaus hotel is ideally located in SoHo, close to the Brooklyn Bridge, Canal Street subway, and within waking distance to gay bars in Greenwich Village and Chelsea.

Guest rooms are spacious and stylishly understated, each including a 42″ flat screen TV, free WiFi and excellent city views. As this is SoHo, you’ll see various works by local artists on the walls.

We like this hotel’s modern gym, pool and wellness spa. Take the glass elevator the rooftop bar, enjoy dinner in the underground restaurant & bar, and later head to REBAR gay club or The Stonewall for a fun night out.
