One of New York’s most legendary gay bars, Marie’s Crisis is a New York institution where you can expect many a show-tune to be played. A gay bar in Greenwich Village, here you’ll find customers singing along to many a Disney tune or classic Broadway anthem accompanied by a live pianist.
Frequented by plenty of musical theatre students and the occasional celebrity, such as Jimmy Fallon, you’ll find tunes from Mary Poppins, The Lion King, West Side Story, Mamma Mia and Aladdin to name just a few.
There’s usually a queue as the bar is so small inside, but if you’re looking for a fun time with some camp show tunes then be sure to check it out.
