For the second year running, we’ve looked at thousands of reservations made via Travel Gay Europe and compiled our 2015 ' Top 100' most booked hotels, resorts & guesthouses.

Our 'Top 100' include many that are dedicated to serving the gay market*.

Berlin, Germany

The Axel Berlin is one of the most booked hotels on Travel Gay Europe - gay or straight. Located just moments from some of the city's best gay nightlife and a couple of steps from an underground station, the Axel is a great base for exploring Berlin and its gay scene.

In additional to modern rooms and suites, guests have access to the popular Axel’s “Wellness Centre” to relax in the jacuzzi, sweat it out in the sauna or just chill in the relaxation area.

Located in the heart of the Schöneberg gay scene, the ‘art nouveau’ three-star ArtHotel Connection Hotel features uniquely themed, value-for-money guest rooms.

Every room has a flat screen TV, DVD player, laptop-sized safe, iPhone docking station, free WiFi and breakfast is served until 4pm. Renowned for its friendly and helpful service, hotel also provides free entry to the next-door club Connection.

Perhaps the most famous gay hotel in Berlin, Tom’s Hotel offers comfortable, en suite single and double rooms that are equipped with flat screen TV, DVD player and free WiFi.

Guests receive a a special hotel pass that give discounts and special offers at many of the nearby gay bars, cruise clubs, saunas, nightclubs, shops and restaurants.

Like Tom's Hotel, the Gay Hostel Berlin is located in the Schöneberg gay village, close to the gay bars and gay cruise clubs. The hostel restricts access to gay men up to the age of 38.

Single rooms and shared dormitories are clean, simply furnished and great value for money. There is a common kitchen with microwave, fridge and free WiFi.  Guests also receive a hostel pass which gives them exclusive deals and discounts at various gay venues.

Munich, Germany

This iconic three-star hotel in central Munich has been serving the gay community for decades. But it is not just the great central location and 36 comfortable guest rooms, junior suites and apartments that appeal.

The hotel is also home to the Deutsche Eiche gay sauna, the largest gay bathhouse in Bavaria with facilities that include a Finnish sauna, salt sauna, whirlpool, large steam bath, dark room, solarium, rooftop garden, bistro & bar.

Mykonos, Greece

The views of the Aegean Sea from the Elysium's swimming pool and sun terrace are spectacular. But the buffed bodies around the ever-popular bar are equally pleasing. This is definitely the place on Mykonos to see and be seen.

Guest rooms are air-conditioned and have satellite TV, safe, mini fridge and broadband internet access. Deluxe rooms are larger and have a kitchenette. This 4-star resort also offers a hydro-massage room, sauna and steam room, all free for in-house guests.

The gay-owned and -managed Ares Rooms bed & breakfast features simply furnished guest rooms on the fifth floor of a late 19th century building (with an elevator) - a real value-for-money option.

The location is great for sightseeing and just a few minutes’ walk from the gay nightlife including cruise clubs.

Barcelona, Spain

Axel Barcelona continues to be one of the most popular hotels on Travel Gay Europe.  Customers love the Axel's chic, modern rooms and a new wine bar. The rooftop ‘Sky Bar’ is a destination in its own right, while the Wellness Club 33 impresses with 500 m² of water zones, spa treatments, massages and personal fitness training.

The Axel is close to the gay bars and clubs in Eixample and is less than 10 minutes’ walk from city centre. The concierge has a wealth of knowledge of everything gay around the city.

Gran Canaria, Spain

AxelBeach Maspalomas offers stylish apartments that are just a few minutes’ walk from the Yumbo Center gay nightlife and 1.5 km from the beach.

Guest rooms are air-conditioned and have a living/dining area, flat screen TV and kitchenette.

Fabulous facilities include a swimming pool with sun loungers and garden, spa, outdoor jacuzzi, wet/dry sauna and a gym.   The rooftop Sky Bar is one of the best pre-party gay meeting spots in town.

The clothing-optional Beach Boys resort has just 12 individually styled bungalows, a private pool, sun terrace with sun loungers, poolside bar where breakfast, drinks, meals and snacks are served.

The famous Maspalomas dunes are just a 15-minute walk from the resort.  The gay nightlife at the Yumbo Center is about 20 minutes’ walk away, or you can take a taxi (approx. 4€ each way).

Located directly across the road from the famous Yumbo Center gay nightlife.

Revamped in 2015 and now under new management, this relatively small resort offers bungalow accommodation around a private, clothing-optional pool.

Madrid, Spain

Brighton, United Kingdom

The biggest gay hotel in the UK is located on the seafront of the super gay-popular city of Brighton, just a few steps from the best gay venues including The Basement Club which is in Legends’ own basement.

Rooms range from tiny singles all the way up to spacious junior suites with panoramic sea views.  All rooms have an LCD TV, tea & coffee making facilities and free fast WiFi.  The larger deluxe rooms and suites have facilities such as a lounge area, dual-aspect sea views and premium toiletries.
